Ansel Adams Lecture October 30, 2008

In the Singer Gallery, an artist talk and reception will be held to intoduce Matthew Adams, grandson of Ansel Adams and owner of the Matthew Adams Gallery in Yosemite, California. When his grandfather died in 1984, Matthew Adams was 17. During the artist talk he will discuss the Zone system, which Ansel Adams developed in 1941 to determine correct exposure and development times. Matthew Adams will also share slides of original negatives and final results achieved by Ansel Adams with the Zone system.
