Renowned for their unearthly vocal blend and virtuosic ensemble singing, The Wall Street Journal wrote of this female vocal quartet “uncannily accurate singing, with all the pitches dead on…a vibration of seemingly infinite emotional expressiveness.” Anonymous 4 has performed on major concert series and at festivals throughout North America, Europe, and Asia, including appearances at Tanglewood, Wolftrap, BBC Proms, Edinburgh Festival and the Brisbane Biennial, and has sold over two million albums on the harmonia mundi label.
Their program will combine pieces from two of their CDs, “A Medieval Ladymass,” containing British chant and polyphony in honor of the Virgin Mary, and “Gloryland” filled with sacred music from the American folk tradition.
