The Truman Library's education department organize a teacher's conference every summer for teachers from all over the country. This year's theme commemorates the 150th anniversary of the Civil War. Scholars from both Kansas and Missouri will look back at the Border Wars and the Civil War at large. In addition to hearing the latest research form top scholars, teachers will be given the opportunity to research, create and share lesson plans.
