As Oktoberfest comes to a close, take a walking tour of historic taverns in Lower Manhattan, with stops at several for refreshment. Stops include Fraunces Tavern, where Washington bid farewell to his officers; a pub frequented by Mark Twain and Lincoln; and a tavern once associated with the Cotton Exchange and Capt Kidd.
