Annual New Year's Eve Special Train December 31, 2010

Begin your festive evening in the Pullman Room of the historic Strater Hotel at 699 Main Avenue in downtown Durango at 5:00pm. Enjoy live music and a cash bar and be seated for dinner at 5:30pm. After dinner, bundle up for a short but romantic stroll one block south to the historic Durango Depot where you will board the D&SNG steam-powered train for a rare night excursion reminiscent of turn-of-the-century travel. Be on board by 7:00pm to prepare for your ride in the lantern-lit cars to Cascade Canyon while you enjoy live entertainment, decadent desserts, New Year's Eve party favors and cash bars. There is a special Family Car for those of you who would like to ring in the New Year with your younger loved ones! Upon arrival in Durango city limits, a complimentary glass of champagne will be served onboard in a glass keepsake flute for the traditional midnight toast!
