Annual Memorial Day Ceremony at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum May 31, 2010

Veterans will join active members of the armed forces, including visiting marines and sailors who are in New York City for Fleet Week, at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum’s annual Memorial Day ceremony on Monday, May 31st, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM, at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, located at Pier 86 (46th Street and 12th Avenue), Manhattan.

The ceremony will include the unfurling of a 100-foot American flag on Intrepid’s flight deck, the playing of Taps, a ceremonial wreath laying, 3-volley rifle salute and a military flyover. The event is free with price of admission to the museum.
