A circus, with its clowning, sight gags, and physical feats set in an early 1920s radio studio ? sound absurd? High Water Radio, this year?s holiday production from San Francisco?s Pickle Circus, follows a band of Misfits, Soothsayers, Radio Engineers, Jugglers, Tap Dancers, Banjo Pickers, Don Juans, Toe Hangers, Glockenspiel Players, Cowboys, Chorus Girls, Whiz Kids and Clowns as they transform a dusty town into their very own radio studio, creating one of California?s first wireless variety broadcasts. High Water Radio features great clowning, stunning acts by members of the celebrated Nanjing Acrobatic Troupe, and an original musical score composed and performed live by the acclaimed Tin Hat Trio.
Performances begin Wednesday, December 14, 2005, and continue through New Year?s Day, Sunday, January 1, 2006, at the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre, 3301 Lyon Street, San Francisco.
