Annual Brooklyn Disability Awareness Day Event June 15, 2008

Come to Asser-Levy Park beginning at 11am and join in the festivities to commemorate Annual Brooklyn Disability Awareness Day! This is the day that unites people with disabilities and their families in a festive event which celebrates strong men, women and children who are able to overcome many challenges and be exemplary members of our society. This is also a day of kindness and encouragement which will be best illustrated by the event's grand finale--a "Walk of Support" on the Brighton Beach Boardwalk.
