Anne Arundel County SPCA Walk for the Animals April 26, 2009

The Best Doggone Walk Festival! Anne Arundel County SPCA WALK for the ANIMALS 2009 at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis, MD. on Sunday April 26, 2009 from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. Help us Raise $225,000 to care for our 4,000 Homeless Shelter Animals.

Visit the Best Doggone Walk Festival in the Blue Heron Center parking lot. Follow the signs to check out the fun. Register with your pledge money and pledge sheet and collect your Walker prizes. Have your animal’s picture taken by Dave Gary. All proceeds benefit the SPCA.

Spend some time at our sponsors’ information tables. Many will have giveaways for the SPCA walkers. Bring along some extra money and plan to visit the booths of festival vendors and the SPCA boutique.

Visit with animal welfare organizations and animal rescue groups to learn more about their important humane work. Watch and learn at a K9 demonstration by the Anne Arundel County Police on the lawn near the Blue Heron Center. For additional information please call:

Directions to Quiet Waters Park:

From Rt. 50 (same from I-97 South), take Rt. 665 (exit 22-
Aris T. Allen Blvd.) Stay on Rt. 665 until it ends and becomes Forest Dr. East.. Follow Forest Dr. for two miles to intersection with Hillsmere Dr. (Exxon on right). Turn right on Hillsmere Dr., then turn right into Quiet Waters Park.

Parking is limited, please try to car pool. Parking on the grass is prohibited.
