Ann Marie Productions presents 'That Horrible In-Between Place' October 30, 2008

Ann Marie Productions presents the World Premiere of "That Horrible In-Between Place" by Gabrielle Gomez. Rain fills the air; lights come up on a hospital waiting room. A crash victim has been brought in; phone calls have been made to notify loved ones. His girlfriend enters; his female best friend enters. They sit and wait. And, as luck would have it, as they watch their fears slowly become reality, they soon realize they are the only ones who are showing up. As they wait for results and answers, they search for reasons to stay, reasons to leave, for the truth, for the strength to notice their beginnings and endings. Caught in the moment between where they’ve been and where they are headed, these two women discuss love, anger, loss, jealousy, and need. A play that is honest, funny, and touching about that moment in life no one can prepare for: that horrible place between the way we were and the way we will be.
