Be a witness to jazz history when Giant Steps - featuring Allan Barnes and five of Michigan's finest musicians - perform jazz classics from Charlie Parker to John Coltrane.

Giant Steps is a compilation of Detroit's finest jazz band leaders, featuring Allan Barnes (Tenor Sax), Nick Calandro, Jr. (Bass), Cliff Monear (Piano), Gayelynn McKinney (Drums), Sunny Wilkinson (Vocals), and Racey Biggs (Trumpet). This concert is in celebration of Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Reads 2010, which, this year focuses on the subject of Michigan.
