Ann Arbor Human Rights Commission Special Meeting and Presentation by Riot Youth May 17, 2011

All are invited to attend and participate in this special meeting of the Ann Arbor Human Rights Commission. We will focus on experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth in our schools and explore opportunities for community change. Through Gayrilla Theater, the Neutral Zone's Riot Youth will present findings from a groundbreaking climate survey conducted in the Ann Arbor Public Schools about bullying and harassment, safety, and curriculum issues connected to sexual orientation, gender identity, race, and appearance. A question and answer period will follow.
