In 1832, the naturalist Charles Darwin visited the Galapagos Islands, studied their unusual wildlife, and began to uncover the process of evolution. In 1996, Twin Cities pediatrician and avid nature photographer Dr. Stanley Leonard retraced some of Darwin's footsteps. In 50 photographs he captures intimate details from the lives of Galapagos animals.
