Southern California-based Blues-Rock guitarist Andy Walo, and his band, Andy Walo Trio – L.A.’s Hardest-Working.Blues Rock Band” – is also one of Las Vegas’ favorite attractions, commuting from his Los Angeles home to perform in Sin City on an average of several times a week for the last few years.
Walo recently celebrated the release of his new EP, FLAMETHROWER, with huge crowds in both Las Vegas (House of Blues, Sand Dollar Blues Lounge) and Los Angeles (Starboard Attitude).

Andy talks about the tracks on FLAMETHROWER: The title track “is about a total geek guy gear head who’s obsessed with WWII-era flamethrowers and spends most of his spare time shooting, repairing and cleaning them. He also uses his flamethrowers in occasional paintball tournaments!;” “Hard Hearted Woman” is “about a mean selfish woman;” “Too Long In The City” details “too many people staying too long in the city, acting weird, stuck in traffic, texting people constantly, etc.;” “With The Band” is about “no matter how bad things get, I always get happy playing with my band;” “Who’s That Knocking” is “about a guy who hears someone knocking on his girlfriend’s door;” and “Baby Please Don’t Go” is “a traditional blues song about a guy’s girlfriend wanting to move down to New Orleans looking for ‘work’.”
FLAMETHROWER was recorded, mixed and mastered at Bueno Studios. Andy Walo Trio are Andy Walo (guitars/vocals/bass); Roger Bueno (bass); and Rena’ Beevers (drums). Walo was recently nominated in “Best Blues Group or Artist” and “Best Guitarist” categories for the 5th Annual South Bay Music Awards.
