Is an acoustic work of mainly folk, country, blues and bluegrass. I come from a large family, the youngest of five. When I was nine, my parents moved us from our home in Round Rock, Texas to Southern New Hampshire. Although my parents didn't play any musical instruments, they had a real appreciation for it. They had each of us five kids trained classically on the piano since age 7 until we finished school. I never remember a time we didnt have a record player on playing everything you can imagine from classical to folk to rock, southern rock, country, and blues. When I was 18 I picked up the guitar and taught myself chords to an old Neil Young songbook; and started writing on it right away. I would write folk songs... love songs, personal laments through the years. The sets include my original songs, traditional, and some classic or recent covers. I've been lucky to locate to an area with many talented songwriters and players that enjoy sitting around in song circles, sharing traditional songs as well as their own. This is the most pleasure I get out of music, hearing all of the voices, young and young at heart all wanting to share their tales.
