(New York, NY ? March 21, 2005) Starting a tour in ?Providence? makes for a pretty auspicious beginning. Perhaps that?s the reasoning behind making the city the first stop on Andrew Vladeck?s Northeast Tour. When one thinks of indie music from New York City, a banjo usually doesn?t come to mind. Vladeck welds an alternative-Americana rock with well-crafted songs that are playful and soulful. With the release of his debut record, Vladeck, a fixture on the Lower East Side, is excited to be touring the Northeast after playing Nashville and a CD release party at New York?s Bowery Ballroom. His record has recently received three BILLBOARD Song Contest Honors. Indie-Music says, ?It?ll scrape the Top 40 Glitter right off your radio." The Village Voice in NYC calls his music "Nothing but Fun" and Music Connection in LA calls it "absolutely entertaining."
