A solo show to benefit the Chicago Short Film Brigade by Andrew Bird is an experience that combines Birds signature looping of live violin tracks, guitar and vocals, and glockenspiel all aside Birds unfettered whistling, wrapped within intricately crafted songs. Birds songs roam across topics form childhood to science, the apocalypse and beyond.

The Chicago Short Film Brigade is a non-profit organization dedicated to the active production and appreciation of short film. The Brigade aims to bring a wide variety of local and international short films to the public in decidedly non-academic, non-festival environments on a quarterly basis. A short film program presented by Brigade curator Xan Aranda will precede Mr. Birds musical performances.
