CAT is pleased to bring one of the best known classic "Whodunnits" to the Richmond stage. There is no sleuth, the pace is fast, frenzied and breathless, and the parade of characters sharply drawn. The body count is high and the mode of death is, well, frequently untidy. Adapted for the stage in 1945 from Agatha Christie's best-selling novel written in 1939, Director Lynn Smith has taken the challenge to keep her talented cast true to the 1940's style, with proper English accents, authentic set design, and period props.
