UNM Continuing Education is offering a two-day, hands-on course that will introduce you to the primary feature set and basic interface of Final Cut Pro on January 28-29 from 8am-5pm. For $599 you will learn to perform basic video editing functions while familiarizing yourself with the user interface. Topics include basic setup, adjusting and customizing preferences and settings, capturing video and audio, various editing and trimming techniques, Ripple, Roll, Slip and Slide tools, audio editing and audio creation, finishing and final output. Prerequisite: Course # 54101/11 or basic knowledge of Macintosh OS X; must have Macintosh experience. Suggested: Course # 57301 or basic knowledge of editing terminology.
