In partnership with Imagination Stage's nationally-acclaimed Deaf Access Company and the National Children's Museum, BlackRock brings to the boards an enchanting yarn of Irish folklore by local playwrights Harry Michael Bagdasian and Ernest Joselovitz. In the tradition of past Deaf Access productions like 'The Magical Pinata and Tales From India,' 'An Irish Tale' relates bits of another culture - this time, Ireland - through a blend of charming story, sign language, spoken voice, audience participation, traditional music and dance. A visually-striking and intellectually-stimulating production, 'An Irish Tale' will be performed by an integrated company comprised of deaf, hard of hearing and hearing teens in a captivating presentation accessible to both deaf and hearing audiences.
