An Introduction to Digital Nature Photography October 17, 2010

Join naturalist and photographer Bob Speare for a fall day at Long Pasture learning about camera settings and photographic techniques you can use to get some beautiful natural images. We'll spend some time indoors and also use the backdrop of the sanctuary as we discuss a variety of topics including macro, landscape, white balance, exposure, focus, and depth of field. We'll also practice using some key field techniques to build stronger composition and balance in your shots. All levels of photography experience are welcome. Please have a basic understanding of your camera and bring extra batteries or a charger as we'll be shooting throughout the day. Registration is required. Call 508-362-7475 for details.
