Born in the mid-19th century in Europe and Australia, Anthropology is a disciplinary study of humans and their diversities and developments in all cultural, social and historical dimensions. This eight-session course is designed to give practical and theoretical knowledge and techniques of anthropology. Working with the presenter, the students will learn and examine key areas in human cultural and social patterns of behaviour and beliefs, such as cult, food, herbal medicine, symbols, religion, magic, pilgrimage, shrines, fetish, and so on. The course will also enable students to identify their own cultural patters and analyse other cultures. Details of this event may be subject to change.
