An Indelible Impression

by DJ Blackmon

As I turned and looked at him, focusing on the taught firm tissue that wrapped itself around the frame of his body, I began to feel an irresistible urge to stare. I watched as the muscles of his flesh twisted themselves around the curves of his body. We were as close as our clothes and skin would allow, and somehow it felt that closer seemed impossible. Inside of me, inside my head, I traced the lines and curves of his face, trailing my fingers across the fullness of his lips, staring constantly trying to make a lasting image of him in my mind. I could, if I wanted, paint a picture of the way his bottom lip seemed to pout as he sighed inaudibly at the time passing by slowly. My sudden intake of breath seemed to startle him, but he smiled and remained close to me. For what seemed not to overlong a time, I continued to look at the various lines and curves connecting together to form the intricate patterns that made up his person. I watched a bead of sweat travel down the surface of his perfect flesh. An urge to trace the journey over his skin was nearly overwhelming. Totally consumed by his overpowering presence, I sighed as rhythmic movements kept our bodies gently colliding. At each collision an overwhelming sense of tension heightened.; Moments later, he looked down into my eyes and said, "I'm getting off."; Then he moved away. I could still feel him next to me, and as the doors to the train closed, I could still remember the curve of his lips as he smiled his goodbye.; It's safe to say he left an indelible impression on me.
