Now in its 7th year Ableton Live! moves from strength to strength in establishing its unique creative presence in todays creative audio market. Here at Old Broadcasting House we have the pleasure of holding an evening of networking and drinks with a question and answer time on Tuesday 25th November from 6pm-8pm.
Once seen as a live performance tool for djs, live has spread its wings over the last few years to emerge as one of the most inspirational audio tools an engineer, musician, producer, sound recordist or web designer can have in his/her arsenal to produce unique and engaging sounds and music that differ from the norm.
With is dual arrangement and session views live excels in both a studio and live performance environment and with its bottomless pit of potential sound creation sources there is never moment of dispair when it comes to the next sound.
Paul Key (drummer ex Good Die Young, support slots with The Charlatans, The Twang, Proud Mary) takes you on a tour of Abletons stengths in multidisciplinary environments from Dj ing to live performance to standard studio prodcution, showing the need for live in your production pipeline and its truly inspirational output.
All types of musical/sound based topics will be covered. Look forward to seeing you there!
