Steve Lawrences recording career is legendary. He recorded his first, self-titled album in 1953 and has since recorded more than 30 solo albums, including: "Portrait of My Love," "Ballad of the Sad Young Men," and "Winners," among other memorable classics. Of particular note are such recordings as "Ive Gotta Be Me," "Portrait of My Love," and "Go Away Little Girl," which was a #1 Billboard record, selling over a million copies.Throughout his career, Steve has performed with some of the most legendary artists of all time, including Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bob Hope, Gene Kelly, Ethel Merman and Sammy Davis, Jr., just to name a few.In addition to the New York Drama Critics Award, Steve earned a tony award nomination for his 1964 Broadway debut in the musical "What Makes Sammy Run." Steve also starred with his wife Eydie in the Broadway musical, "Golden rainbow."With a touring schedule, movie projects and television appearances, Steve Lawrence continues to be one of the busiest and most successful entertainers in show business.
