Join us at the ToonSeum for an evening with Pearls Before Swine creator Stephan Pastis.
Nationally syndicated cartoonists Stephan Pastis will be at the ToonSeum and Bricolage on June 22nd at 7pm where in his own words:
"I talk about the strip, tell the strange tale of how I went from being a lawyer to a syndicated cartoonist, show a number of readers’ favorite strips, and of course, talk about some of the strips that weren’t big hits (including some of the angry mail they generated). It’s inspirational, it’s funny and it’s better than just sitting with a bunch of people in a quiet room."
The talk will take place at Bricolage theater near the ToonSeum.
The event will be followed by a book signing at the ToonSeum where guests can also see original Pearls Before Swine art in the premiere of Stephan's first ToonSeum exhibition!
A special VIP event which includes a signed limited edition print, and meet and greet with Stephan will take place at 6pm at the ToonSeum before the talk. Open bar, must be 21 to drink. Tickets are limited to no more than 50 for the VIP Event.

About Pearls Before Swine

At its heart, Pearls Before Swine is the comic strip tale of two friends: an arrogant Rat who thinks he knows it all and a slow-witted Pig who doesn't know any better. Together, this pair offers caustic commentary on humanity's quest for the unattainable. Dilbert cartoonist Scott Adams says that Pearls is "one of the few comics that make me laugh out loud." The strip has twice won the National Cartoonists Society's Reuben division award for Best Newspaper Comic Strip – in 2003 and in 2006.
