Prof. Kailath ('56) is a colossus in the world of mathematics, engineering and industry. He is a Foreign Member of the Royal Society of London, was awarded the Padma Bhushan by the Government of India, a recipient of the IEEE Medal of Honor and has been inducted into the Silicon Valley Hall of Fame. Prof. Kailath has a close association with India and COEP. In 2008 he announced a personal contribution grant of $100,000 which has successfully raised an additional $100,000 in response.
To express our pride and gratitude the COEP Charitable Foundation will honor Prof. Kailath and formally induct him as the first member of the COEP Alumni Hall of Fame. Please join us in honoring this living legend who continues to be an inspiration to all of us.
