Marin Arts presents a reading and booking signing event with award-winning and national best selling author of "The Speed of Light," Elizabeth Rosner for her recent award-winning book "Blue Nude." The Elizabeth Rosner event, part of Downtown San Rafael's "2nd Fridays Art Walk," includes snacks and beverages and a Q&A with the author.
With parts set in Marin County, "Blue Nude" tells the story of an German artist and Israeli model who must both overcome the past in order to create a future. Using words to paint the landscapes of body and soul, Rosner conveys the art of survival, the complexity of history, the form of exile, the shape of desire and the color of intimacy in a narrative equivalent of a masterpiece of fine art.
