On Saturday April 9, 17, and 23, enjoy dinner at 6:00 pm with the Famed Author and Speaker Bret Harte. He will entertain guests with his stories of the gold rush, including The Luck of Roaring Camp and The Outcast of Polker Flat. Together, he and Mr. Mark Twain will delight you with stories of their adventures out West and the beginning of American Literature. This is a performance you will not want to miss! These two gold rush scallywags of American literature together in one show--it's pure whiskey and gunpowder!

Speaking of whiskey, Sunday April 17 will be a special day in Columbia,with the annual wine tasting all afternoon and a dinner with Mark Twain and Bret Harte that same evening at 5:00 pm. Dinners on April 9 and 23 will also be at 6:00 pm.

The sumptuous five course meal selection includes three entree choices--Poached Pacific Salmon, Roasted Duck, and Grilled Flat Iron Steak, served with a Fresh Garden Salad of organic greens, spice candied walnuts, stilton cheese and quince vinaigrette. The second course is Cream of Carrot Ginger Soup, and a delectable dessert, Maple Pots de Creme, topped with roasted shaved almond praline.
