ABOUT JUDY COLLINS
Collins is the consummate artist, a folk icon, activist and singer known for her clear, piercing voice and classic hits "Turn, Turn, Turn", "Send in the Clowns" and "Both Sides Now." The New York Times describes her voice as "a pure vibratoless soprano with an angelic, church-like ring." At 71, she is still touring to crowds of thousands at music festivals around the world, as well as recording albums - over 27 to date, and running her own label, Wildflower Records. Collins' career is a walk through folk music history, from interpreting Bob Dylan, Pete Seeger, Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell, to writing her own material and covering hits from country to rock to Broadway.
