One of our favorite jazz crooners since our Brownswood Session days, José James' versatile delivery treads a fine line between hip-hop swagger and a classic jazz sensibility, that is both disciplined and organic. José James has been dubbed by some as the "jazz voice of a generation". With his smooth baritone voice, his deeply rooted knowledge of Jazz mixed with an R&B flare, José is re-educating people on what it means to love Jazz. His latest album For All We Know (Impulse!) of Jazz standards arranged for piano and voice only was a pure throw back to his roots.
