Jane Monheit, one of the most promising American jazz vocalists of her generation, joins with jazz guitarist John Pizzarelli in an extraordinary evening saluting the great American Songbook.

Jane Monheit’s crystalline voice and buttery phrasing suggest the smarts of a seasoned jazz artist and the cunning storytelling skills of the finest cabaret performers. A Grammy-nominated “jazz goddess for the Gen X set” (St. Louis’ Riverfront Times) Monheit is one of jazz’s hottest young stars.

John Pizzarelli has cultivated a winning international career by singing classic standards and late-night ballads, and by playing sublime and inventive guitar, performing classic pop, jazz, and swing while setting the standard for stylish modern jazz. In addition to being a bandleader and solo performer, John has been a special guest on recordings for major pop names as well as leading jazz artists like Rosemary Clooney, Buddy DeFranco, Harry Allen and Bucky Pizzarelli.
