An Evening with D. Ebenezer Sunder Singh January 18, 2007

Prolific artist D. Ebenezer Sunder Singh will give a talk on his current work at TamarindArt on 18 January 2007 from 6:30 to 8:00pm.

D. Ebenezer Sunder Singh is a celebrated artist at home in India and abroad, he has been the recipient of a number of prestigious honors and awards including the Fulbright Scholarship, the Charles Wallace Scholarship, the Govt. of India Junior Fellowship And the Lalit Kala Akademi Research grant.

In addition to receiving these prestigious accolades he has exhibeted in a number of group shows including, Indian Contemporary Art in Korea, in Seoul Korea, ‘Human Figure’-Sculpture Exhibition at Gallery Threshold in New Delhi, India, and ‘Are we like this only’ at Vadehra Art Gallery in New Delhi, India. His work was also featured prominently at the Sotheby’s auction in New York last September.

Singh’s work is in a number of Major art collections including, Museum fur Indische Kunst in Berlin, Germany, the National Gallery of Modern Art in New Delhi, India and in many private Collections India and Abroad.
