Steve Douglas from "Artists In Rhythm" writes about his friend:
"One of my new found friends is guitar virtuoso Carmine D'Amico. This man is a New York legend on records , films and TV themes. His resume reads like a Grammy winning who's who and Carmine himself has won 16. A professional since age 9, you hear his guitar work when you don't even realize it....Godfather I, theme from Cheers, Saturday Night Fever soundtrack, big hits like Try to Remember, After the Lovin', You Make Me Feel Brand New, plus studio work behind John Dankworth, Cleo Laine, Vanessa Williams, Patti LaBelle, Tina Turner, Ben Vereen, Mel Torme, Shirley Bassey, Tony Bennett, Henri Mancini, Bobby Darin, Sergio Franke, Vic Damone, Michele LeGrande, Jack Jones and thousands of TV and radio commercials.
Today, Carmine continues performing, producing, arranging, composing and recording for a variety of musical artists. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to play with him down in the valley and because of that am presenting a special concert...An Evening with Carmine D'Amico at Studio Live on April 2nd at 7:30. Backed up by myself on bass, Kevin McQuaid, drums and Erroll Foldes on alto sax, the concert will be off the wall....Pop, Jazz, Funk, movie themes...wherever Carmine goes, we will follow. I am grateful to Rod Snapp of Javelina Leap Winery for providing his award winning wine for intermission and to Flagstaff's Arizona Music Pro for underwriting the show."
