An Evening at Gropius August 8, 2008

Architect and teacher Walter Gropius designed his 1938 home as a showcase of Modernist design. His innovative treatment of interior and exterior lighting is best experienced at night. Gropius's use of subtle, flattering light showcases the house interior while highlighting the landscape as a part of the interior design. The evening includes a slide introduction, house tour, and refreshments.
