Archivist Allen Weinstein welcomes Geoffrey Ward in a discussion focusing on Ward’s book The War, a companion to the PBS documentary by Ken Burns. The book brings to life the stories of more than 40 ordinary men and women who experienced—and helped to win—the most devastating war in history. Tonight’s program is the national launch of The War, and a book signing will follow the discussion.
