Performing in support of her newest release "Let the Light In," Amy Cook weaves the sounds of alt folk, pop, Americana, and rock and roll into a "moody and kick-ass" (Velvet Park) canopy of sound. Prior to moving to Austin in 2005, Amy was a part of the Los Angeles music scene where she was a frequent performer at Hollywood's Hotel Cafe, a venue that became well known for establishing the careers of many musicians. She’s toured extensively throughout her musical career, most recently as an opener for many of Alejandro Escovedo’s 2008-09 shows throughout the United States. Amy performs at 9pm at the Stronghold in Venice. 21+.
