Merrimack Valley has a new hot spot for live music. The Village Smokehouse in Lowell presents live music on Thursday evenings in the award-winning barbecue restaurant. Located at 98 Middle Street in Lowell, The Village Smokehouse will showcase regional folk, rock and blues acts every week. Music begins at 9 p.m. and there is no cover charge. Upcoming acts include:
• May 7th - Amy Black & The Red Clay Rascals
• May 14th - Dave Gerard and Acoustic Truffle
• May 21st - Whiskey Tango
• May 28th - Jeremy Lyons
In addition to the Thursday night music series, the Village Smokehouse is getting every in the mood for summer by hosting Reggae Music acts starting Sunday, May 17th. Music begins every Sunday night from 7 pm to 10 pm and there is not cover charge.
