Deadmau5, born Joel Zimmerman in 1981 in Toronto, has established himself as a force to reckoned with in the world of progressive house music. He began releasing his tracks on his own label, Mau5trap Recordings, and has won several awards including the Juno Award for Dance Recording of the Year.
