AMERIGO TRIO Performs Young Persons’ Concert November 19, 2011

The Amerigo Trio will perform a concert presented by Music for Youth, as part of the free Young Person’s Concert series. The Amerigo Trio was founded in 2009 by violinist and New York Philharmonic Concertmaster Glenn Dicterow, his wife violist Karen Dreyfus, and cellist Inbal Segev. Their program will include selections from Beethoven’s String Trio in C Minor, Op. 9, No. 3 and Sibelius’ String Trio in G Minor. Presented in an interactive format and tailored to a younger audience (ages 5 to 15), the Amerigo Trio will share insights about its repertoire and details about its musical approach and technique.
