American Society of Clinical Oncologists (ASCO) Breast Cancer Symposium September 8, 2011

The 2011 ASCO Breast Cancer Symposium will focus on "The Continuum of Breast Care: Science to Survivorship." The three day conference will highlight research related to breast cancer detection and imaging, the timing of chemotherapy, and survivorship. The event will also include discussion related to MEDI-573, neuropathy, and hormone receptor-positive breast cancer.

Jaye Viner and other MedImmune employees will present the "MEDI-573–a novel approach to IGF-1R and IR-A signaling inhibition by blocking IGF ligands: Phase 1 PK/PD, safety data, and disease linkage studies in breast cancer."
