Drawing from the worlds of acoustic, folk, country and bluegrass, American Revival brings you a taste of the most exciting young artists in these genres today. Award-winning mandolin player Sierra Hull is 17 and has already earned the respect of the bluegrass world for her picking and singing alike, and she performs with Highway 111, which features Cory Walker on banjo, former Mountain Heart member Clay Hess on guitar, and Jacob Eller on bass. Uncle Earl is a quartet of women who write and perform original music drawing on the traditions of old-time string bands. The Dixie Bee-Liners have been nominated for four IBMA awards this year, including Emerging Artist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year, Vocal Group of the Year, and Female Vocalist of the Year (Brandi Hart). The Bee-Liners are known for their high-octane harmonies and stunningly beautiful original songs. Already well-known across the country from playing such prestigious events as MerleFest, Telluride Bluegrass, the Grand Ole Opry and Prairie Home Companion, this program brings these exceptional musicians together for the first time for an amazing evening of new and old American music.

We invite you to join us for a special pre-show conversation with Brandi Hart of the Dixie Bee Liners, and PineCone's Executive Director, William Lewis, at 6:45 p.m. in the South Gallery of the Talley Student Center.
