Join us for a craft beer dinner at Meehan's Public House featuring the South Hampton Publick House rare and hard to find vintage collection. Meehan's Chef Linda Harrell has created a custom 4 course menu to compliment each beer. A South Hampton representative will be discussing the style, tasting notes and history of each beer while Chef Linda explains her pairings.
First course
Butter poached diver scallop, celery root & pear mousseline, popcorn shoots
Paired with South Hampton Saison Delux – Tropical Fruit over tones paired with imported Hops delivering a smooth & earthy flavor to the palette. Saison Delux is the 2005 Silver Medal winner of the Great American Beer Festival – Denver.
Second Course
Bacon tempura, frisee, chanterelles & black mustard seed vinaigrette
Paired with South Hampton IPA – Ale with bold citrusy hop and caramel malt
Third Course
Veal sweetbreads, logan turnpike grits, rhubarb compote, organic collards
Paired with South Hampton Cuvee des Fluers – distinctive ale blended with a variety of aromatic & edible flowers
Dessert
Tour de s’more – homemade graham crackers, homemade toasted marshmallows,
Gianduia ganache, peanut butter mousse
Paired with South Hampton Abbot 12 – Dark ale with notes of rasians, figs & carmel with a pronounced dark rum character. Abbot 12 is the 2005 Gold Medal winner of the Great American Beer Festival - Denver.
