American Anthropological Association Annual Meeting 2010 November 16, 2010

The American Anthropological Association is proud to announce New Orleans as the host city of the 2010 annual meeting. The last AAA business meeting hosted in New Orleans was the centennial conference in 2002—the largest annual meeting in AAA history.
The AAA’s return to New Orleans demonstrates the Association’s continued support of the local population, economy, universities and anthropology departments that were damaged by Hurricane Katrina. Just as AAA members rushed to offer assistance in the aftermath of the storm, the AAA hopes to show its lasting commitment to the recovery of the region in the years to come.
