AmericaFest featuring The 5 Browns and The Pasadena Pops July 4, 2006

The biggest Fourth of July fireworks display in Southern California bursts on the scene to the stirring accompaniment of The Pasadena POPS Orchestra. "AmericaFest" at the Rose Bowl, the 80th anniversary of the July 4 fireworks celebration at the famed stadium, with the Pasadena Pops under the direction of maestra Rachael Worby playing America's favorite music. Special guest artists are the sensational 5 Browns, five sibling musicians playing five grand pianos as a quintet, and singer Cynthia Sikes. The 5 Browns appearance is sponsored by VH1 and the Save the Music Foundation, which is partnered with Charter Communications and the Rose Bowl to raise funds for musical instruments at Pasadena schools via receipts from "AmericaFest."

The Pasadena POPS Orchestra concert begins at 6:45. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
