This exhibit celebrates 400 years of African American contributions to this country. Featuring more than 300 artifacts culled from every period of U.S. history, the exhibit will include objects, texts, religion, music, narration and media. An interactive component of the exhibition will allow visitors to leave their own video "imprints," and this collection will grow throughout the life of the exhibit to become the largest recorded oral history project in U.S. history.

If ever there was a reason to take my children out of school for something, it is this! I can't think of a more educational blessing that I could give my children. It's one thing to hear about where we come from but to see it and know that this is real! Just WOW! May GOD continue to bless the America I Am Tour and everyone who made this happen. As a mother of four I say to you, Thanks a bunch!
