The Name says it all.. Norwood's own Ambitious Tugboat makes it's Perks Coffeehouse Debut.

The boys in Ambitious Tugboat do their first ever show in their hometown of Norwood this Thursday night, from 8 to 10 pm at Perks Coffeehouse!

Ambitious Tugboat is Chris Roth on mandolin and acoustic guitar, Matt Malinn on drums, Mike Connolly on electric guitar, Reed Lokken on keys, and Sam Potrykus on bass.

An Ambitious Tugboat show consists of high-energy, impassioned performances with catchy songs and huge sing-a-longs. Folky acoustic guitars mix with electric classic-rock riffs, virtuoso keyboard playing, and a rock-solid rhythm section that knows how to really groove!

After headlining dozens of successful shows on some of the best live music stages all over the city of Boston...as well as doing gigs in Brooklyn, NY and Burlington, VT...Matt, Chris, and Mike return to their hometown to play Perks!

As every folk rocker growing up in the town of Norwood will tell you, Perks is an inspiration. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that the band is absolutely psyched for its chance to rock out on Washington Street this Thursday night!
