Amateur Night at the Apollo: Regular Show August 10, 2011

Audiences will be introduced to a variety of amateur acts at the legendary Apollo Theater. Singers, rappers, comedians, dancers, musicians and spoken word artists can all compete. This show has been making stars since 1934. A surprise celebrity co-host and/or guest performer is scheduled each week. The evening begins with a pre-show jam fest with DJ Jess who knows how to get the party started. The comedian Capone is the host and features live music by Ray Chew and the Crew. Keep a lookout for C.P. Lacey, the Apollo's Executioner, who sweeps bad talent right off the stage.
