Amateur Casting Call Looks For Real-Life Jared Fans For New Subway Commercial June 16, 2008

Jared Fogle, the man famous for losing 245 pounds eating SUBWAY® sandwiches and walking everyday, is hosting a casting call for amateurs interested in earning red-carpet privileges and a role in a new commercial. Video and live stage auditions will be taken at the event at Hollywood & Highland on June 16. The first 500 people to audition receive a SUBWAY® restaurants t-shirt and nylon backpack.

Ten winners will be chosen to audition on the main stage for final judging. The grand prize winner will earn a spot in a SUBWAY® Restaurants commercial and will also attend the Get Smart movie premiere with red carpet arrival the evening of June 16.

Event attendees also will have the option of going into on-site video booths to record a video of themselves reading lines from a SUBWAY® commercial. Those videos will be uploaded to subwayfreshbuzz.com for a chance to win SUBWAY® cash cards and prizes in the upcoming months.
