Sung entirely in English, this magical one-act opera by Gian Carlo Menotti tells the story of a poor crippled shepherd boy, his devoted mother and a knock at the door on a cold winter’s night which changes their lives forever. First broadcast in 1951 on NBC-TV, the whole family will enjoy Amahl and the Night Visitors –a holiday classic of how faith, charity and unselfish love can work miracles!
